Dr. Melinda Solomon completed medical school at the University of Toronto in 1993. She then went on to complete a Paediatric. Rsespirology Fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children. Following this, Dr. Solomon was appointed a attending physician at SickKids. She then completed postdoctoral training in Paediatric Lung Transplantation at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburg. In 2003, she became the Medical Director of the Paediatric Lung Transplant Program, caring for both pre-and-post transplant patients and in 2005 she  became the Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. In addition to her clinical role she has a strong passion for education and is the training program director for pediatric respirology at her centre.
