Professor Mamode has been a Consultant Transplant Surgeon at Guys and St Thomas Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, since 2002. He trained in the West of Scotland, and performs adult and pediatric, kidney and pancreas transplants. His research interests include complex pediatric transplantation, antibody incompatible transplantation and the management of living donors. He is Chief Investigator for two national NIHR funded studies and has published over 80 papers, 1 book and 3 book chapters.
