Jonathan N. Johnson, MD, FACC, FAAP is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he is the Chair of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and Medical Director of the Pediatric Heart Transplant Program. Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from Wayne State University in 2005. He completed training in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in 2008, and subsequently went on to complete subspecialty training in Pediatric Cardiology at Mayo in 2011. His primary transplant research focus includes researching clinical outcomes in pediatric patients with congenital heart disease, heart failure, and heart transplantation, and trying to find ways to noninvasively monitor these patients for complications.
