Nurse practitioner – RenalTransplant Program
With over 25 years of nursing experience, my current role for the past 10 years as a nurse practitioner focuses on the comprehensive ambulatory care of children and their families in the post-transplant period, and facilitating seamless transition of care to adult programs.
As the primary liaison for the medical team, and patients/families, some of my clinical duties include: outpatient clinic assessments, management of patients receiving medical and procedural treatment in a Medical Daycare setting, and consultation/collaboration of ongoing care with both internal and external care providers.
I have a strong interest in clinical guidelines, quality improvement initiatives, program development, and providing continuous education and clinical support to nursing staff and fellows.
