Catherine Patterson (PT, BScPT, MSc) has been a physiotherapist with the SickKids Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Centre for over 15 years, specifically with the liver/intestinal transplant and GIFT programs. Catherine has a special interest in neurodevelopmental outcomes and physical function in children post liver transplant. Her research includes fundamental motor skill development, physical activity and the barriers to participation in children with intestinal failure and post liver transplant. Catherine has a status appointment as Lecturer with the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and is a coauthor on the Canadian Society of Transplantation’s recently developed position statement on Exercise for Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) Candidates and Recipients.
