Dr. Erin Moon is a Registered Psychologist who has been on staff in the Department of Psychology at BC Children's Hospital (BCCH) since October 2012. Prior to her staff position, Dr. Moon completed specialized clinical and research training in pediatric pain and medical psychology during a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at BCCH. Dr. Moon is currently working with the Renal and Multi-Organ Transplant Programs, as well as the Outpatient Medical Psychology Program. She provides inpatient and outpatient assessment and treatment of biopsychosocial issues in children and youth who have undergone kidney, liver, or heart transplant, children with chronic kidney disease and other chronic illnesses, and their families. Dr. Moon also provides consultation to multidisciplinary teams regarding the mental health needs of patients. Dr. Moon’s clinical and research interests include the assessment and management of acute and chronic pain in children and adolescents and the mental health and quality of life outcomes of pediatric transplant recipients.
