Great Ormond Street Hospital
Dr Lakmal Mudalige completed his undergraduate medical education at Imperial College London where he received the prestigious Gordon Holmes prize upon graduation in 2015. His early postgraduate years were based at the University College London, where he was able to integrate his academic & clinical training and attained membership of Royal College Paediatrics and Child Health in 2018. At present Dr Mudalige holds an academic clinical fellowship at the Institute of Child Health, Great Ormond Street Hospital under the guidance of Dr Stephen Marks and aspires to become a paediatric nephrologist. He is particularly interested in the longitudinal analysis of observational data to identify the factors that influence renal allograft survival. By incorporating these within equitable matching algorithms, he aspires to shape the framework of the UK transplantation service to ensure the greatest potential allograft utility at a population level.
