My main fields of research are related to liver transplantation, as well as disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. I am especially interested in biliary complications after liver transplantation. I am working on that subjects since 2013. I have been working on assessment the role of the liver scintigraphy in the diagnosis of biliary complications after liver transplantation. Study about this problem was accepted on the 8th Congress of The International Pediatric Transplant Association (IPTA) in San Francisco in 2015. According to the disorders of the gastrointestinal tract I have completed one of the biggest, according to the literature, groups of patients with esophageal achalasia, which was the topic of my PhD. I am also planning to work on the role of donor specific antibodies in liver transplantation. Moreover, I attended to the 2018 IPTA Symposium in Organ Transplantation in Children in San José with oral presentation about Percutaneous Treatment of Biliary Strictures after Pediatric Liver Transplantation.
