Muhammad Khurram is United Kingdom’s first Paediatric Transplant Surgical Fellow across two of the largest paediatric transplant units in the UK – Great Ormond Street Hospital and Evelina London Childrens Hospital. Muhammad also holds a post CCT fellow position at the Guy’s hospital performing adult kidney and pancreatic transplants and has been appointed a consultant Transplant and Vascular access surgeon at Royal London Hospital.
Muhammad was trained at the King Edward Medical College, Pakistan and undertook his surgical training in London deanery. He has a PhD in Transplantation and his research interests include transplant immunology, paediatric transplantation, transplantation with tumour affected restored organs and organ preservation.
Muhammad has more than 40 international and national presentations along with 10 peer reviewed publications. He is also the trainee representative for the Pan Thames Transplant trainees.
